Underwriter - Global Casualty
Current- Selling and negotiating deals maintaining a quota of $1M in new business premium and a portfolio of $3.8M written premium annually
- Marketing through soliciting new and renewal business by contacting brokers such as Marsh, AON and Arthur J. Gallagher on a rostered account pipeline containing Fortune 500 companies
- Presenting coverage, terms, and conditions to C-suite executives to illustrate key metrics and benefits of partnership
- Performing risk analysis by identifying risk exposures, hazards, and the appropriate controls and quantifying risk based on experience history through understanding loss trends, loss triangles, and ratemaking
- Reviewing monthly, quarterly, annual reports, and financial ratios to determine credit risk of potential clients and assist in making underwriting decisions
- Leveraging financial models to establish profitability and trends of existing and potential customers
