The Office of Energy Efficiency is responsible for contributing to Government of Canada priorities such as climate change, clean growth, innovation, and the transition to a low-carbon economy. A subsidiary of Hydro Ottawa Holding Inc., Envari is an energy solution specialist offering an extensive range of energy management services, with a focus on environmental responsibility and conservation.Major Responsibilities of role:• Segment customers (key, strategic, managed) and refine designation based on opportunity analysis.• Align account activities to maximize productivity and customer insight.• Develop and implement a yearly account plan, to include main initiatives to be undertaken, reports and metrics on key performance indicators, and cover customer priorities, for assigned accounts in alignment with overall account strategy, corporate strategic plan and customer experience roadmap. • Contribute to developing business cases, work plans, processes, and tools to support the successful execution of the overall account strategy.• Take a leadership role in the expansion of business opportunities. Lead and empower a diverse group of team members with focus on client requirements.• Interact with customers to ascertain needs and business drivers. Capture and share intelligence with service delivery leaders to assist with developing strategies that strengthen market share or increase customer value. • Undertake consultative sales approach and leverage technical abilities based on vertical market opportunities. Be familiar with and be able to promote a wide range of company services and solutions.• Act as a primary contact for designated accounts on all related issues for the company including but not limited to technical, load profile information, operational agreements, billing and planned outages.• Act as a corporate spokesperson for Envari Limited and its holding company to designated commercial customers.

Strategic Account Management for the companies most important customers, responsible for building and managing relationships with executives across prominent commercial property management firms, universities, hospitals and critical infrastructure, managing $400M+ in annual revenues.

Built relationships with commercial building owners and pension portfolio managers and exceeded annual sales target by 300%.

New revenue and business development

Working in collaboration with the President, along with members of the Business Development, Marketing and Communications team. Responsible to identify and develop business for One Change and secure significant contracts. Acting in line with One Change's partner/stakeholder initiatives and philosophy to drive the adoption of energy efficiency initiatives in Canada and the US while delivering high client/partner satisfaction.

Developed and executed strategies to significantly build membership of individual donors. Maintained existing relationships and sought out new sources of corporate and foundation funding. Designed and implemented two new fundraising initiatives; “Drink Tap Water” in partnership with the Ottawa Folk Festival and “Casting for Clean Water” in partnership with Trailhead.

At one of Ottawa’s longest established commercial realty company liaised with company president and District Realty on business operations. Tracked and reported on activities related to property portfolio through the YARDI Property management software. Managed contractors for building systems maintenance.
