Group Future Operations Officer for a 2600-Soldier Special Forces Group organized and equipped to conduct full spectrum Special Operations in support of the Geographic Combatant Commanders and U.S. Ambassadors within the USCENTCOM and USAFRICOM Areas of Responsibilities. Responsible for overseeing the sourcing of 54 Special Forces Operational-Detachments-Alpha, nine Operational Detachments-Bravo, four Special Forces Battalions, and a Group Support Battalion toward SOCOM and TSOC combat and Theater Security Cooperation Program (TSCP) requirements. Provides technical and tactical guidance, assisting the Group Operations Officer on all matters related to sourcing requirements, major planning efforts, command training guidance, D2D management, Certification, Verification, Validation (CV2) Oversight, and enabler integration.

Advises the Battalion Operations Officer on all planning, training, resourcing, execution, and deployment of 18 Special Forces Operational Detachment-Alphas throughout the unit's Area of Responsibility. Manages Theater Security Cooperation Program for the Battalion to include the integration of all Battalion Staff elements with SOCAFRICA and Interagency Assets for events occurring within North West Africa. Ensures detachments perform deployments in accordance with Joint Chief of Staff (JCS), United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Africa Command (AFRICOM), US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), and 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) (1st SFC (A)) directives, regulations, and SOPs in support of both the Group Commander's and SOCAFRICA Commander's objectives.

Assistant Detachment Commander of a CENTCOM oriented 12-man Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha (SFODA); commanded the detachment in the absence of an assigned commander and half the detachment during split team operations; supervises and directs all staff functions at the detachment level to include the development of the SFODA mid and long range training plans; provides tactical and technical assistance focusing primarily on Unconventional Warfare, Special Reconnaissance, Foreign Internal Defense, Psychological Operations, Counterterrorism, and Civil/Military activities, ensures the detachment is able to conduct short notice deployments in the USCENTCOM areas of responsibility in support of the Combatant Commander's objectives; able to organize, train, advise, and lead an indigenous battalion in light infantry and combined arms tactics.

Senior Communications Sergeant on a CENTCOM and EUCOM oriented, Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha; plans long range communications; analyses enemy RDF; develops the communication plan in support of up to theater operations; supervises the maintenance of the detachment's communications equipment and is a qualified communications instructor; trains, advises, and leads up to a company sized force of indigenous personnel.
