These networks provide services to Hospitals/ Clinics, colleges and high schools along with various agencies throughout the state of Iowa.Daily Functions as a Lead: Assign coworkers daily tasks, Monitor coworkers daily tasks, Approve escalations and field technician dispatches, work closely with Management / Coordination on any tasks. "Run" optical and copper outages. Train new employees. Help in writing new "Standard Operating Procedures".Daily Functions as a technician : Provide tier 2/3 troubleshooting for networks/ customers listed above. Answer customer / field technician calls (avg 25-30 calls a day). Open Support Requests (SR) for customer reports (avg 20 SRs in a weeks time). Monitor our Network Alarms via different platforms ( HP Operations Manager, Terawave Management System to name a few). Answer customer E-mails regarding Issues / Request for Services (RFS) / Domain Name System requests. Open change requests from customers.
