An academic with a well travelled background that has involved working on projects ranging from functional genomics to physiology. My main interests, however, revolve around studying sensory and motor functions of the gastrointestinal tract. I am also interested in how ageing affects GI physiology. Other key interests involve teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level where I cover a wide range of physiology and pharmacological topics, as well as developing educational programmes for the home and overseas market. I enjoy lecturing and we are here to help our students progress.
