I have great attention to detail and design, which makes me an asset to a leading construction company. I have gained a vast amount of experience overseas on many live projects, leading and managing survey teams, putting together vast technical reports, organising surveying stores, keeping surveying equipment fully calibrated and functioning. Having extensive experience using Leica total station 1205+, Leica total station TS16, Leica GS1200, AutoCAD and LisCAD. The Royal Institution of Royal Engineers awarded me with professional recognition as an Engineering Technician. I strive to gain a IEng and CEng in the coming years.Now working with Taylor Woodrow as part of the Vinci group, as a Site Engineer. Within this role I am responsible for setting out using a Leica TS16, quality documents (Quality plans and ITP's) and inspection records, As-built drawings using AutoCAD, mentoring and teaching graduate/summer placement/junior enigneers, updating real time drone surveys with as-built information, raising TQ's and attending internal/client meetings.

Responsible for setting out of elements of works to formation and finished ground levels in accordance with design. Supervises and manages the work force, including supply chain partners, ensuring all parties are working in accordance with Safe Systems of Work and towards project deliverables. I prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans and Quality Plans.My project experience includes: Working on two public sector schemes in Derby City centre working on The Spot and The Morledge. Each scheme consists of public realm and transport infrastructure alterations to improve accessibility and safety for pedestrians and non-motorised users, whilst maintaining vehicular access across each area. Works included highway realignment, pavement widening, cycle lane installation, relocation and adjustment of existing transport infrastructure including bus bays. While working on the projects in Derby I also mentored and taught two upcoming graduate engineers on many site engineering practices. Building their confidence and knowledge on the Leica TS16 total station.Three projects in Doncaster. Enabling works for iPort Bridge scheme and since have commenced delivery of the main works package to deliver the construction of a new bridge that connects the residential area of New Rossington to the iPort Business Park. The bridge comprises of a bus lane, segregated cycle lane, segregated pedestrian footpath and deep drainage systems. As a team at iPort, we were nominated for Team of Year, in the Highway Awards in 2023. And another two public realm schemes upgrading Doncaster City centre with high quality modern paving and the demolition of the old Library to create wide green spaces improving the city's biodiversity.

63 Works Group, Senior Military Engineering Surveyor

While located at 170 Engineer Group I was employed as a Lance Corporal as part of the Design Drawing Office, leading and mentoring junior surveyors and working alongside AutoCAD Design draughtsman. Supported four military projects as lead surveyor. The first project in Cyprus I was working on designing ground works for a future Urban Operations Training Facility. Producing site plans, alignment profiles, cross-sectional graphs, all setting out data, mass diagrams and technical reports. It was pivotal for the earthworks to be balanced as this would have economical affects on the project. The second project in Cyprus I was attached to a specialist water infrastructure team Army reservist team. Producing site plans, height difference graphs, design aid and technical reports. The was to aid in the design of improving water infrastructure on Troodos Mountain and better utilising currant water infrastructure systems within a barracks. The third project I lead a small team of eleven on a construction task on the barracks to update some current infrastructure. Lastly I was lead surveyor on five vital projects in Cyprus. These included surveying and designing drainage remediation for a cemetery, upgrading living infrastructure, designing the military's first self build solar farm, designing/upgrading a main ententary point for a barracks and design remediation for a soak-away. As part of the five projects each required aspects of traverses with reports, technical reports, design aid, ground works design and topographical drawings.I also managed the maintenance of all works group survey stores. Making sure all equipment was calibrated, functioning within accuracies, undamaged and clean, keeping on top of all documentation and preparing equipment for projects or deployments.I promoted to Corporal in April 2023.

50 Headquarters And Support Squadron, Construction Supervision Cell Surveyor

Deployed on a peacekeeping construction tour in South Sudan, as lead surveyor. Working alongside project managers as lead surveyor, I aided in the maintenance and upgrading of infrastructure both for the United Nations and British Army. One project was to find a suitable location for a Level 2 Hospital producing site plans and detailed technical reports focusing on drainage. During this deployment I established key relations with several United Nations Employees including the environmental health expert, this aided in bringing forward appointments and effectiveness of friendly relations. In the Construction Supervision Cell, I was employed as the regimental surveyor. I supported project managers in design aspects and all surveying requirements for three live projects within the barracks. This was to upgrade current infrastructure and training aids for the regiment.
