I was working in the finance department of a successful lease and loan provider in a competitive market - my duties included responsibility for the purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliation of various bank and control accounts, credit control and forecasting, in addition to administrative tasks such as processing customer information.

My role in the credit control department was to help reduce the bad debt of the company by managing and collecting arrears and maintaining statistics for reporting purposes. I would also help our clients with any queries they may have.

My duty was to ensure our products database was up to date, providing technical support, and delivering a top customer service when needed.

I took on a variety of tasks at Design 2 Print, most notably the processing of digital files. Working in close liaison with clients, estimating profit, working in Microsoft Excel, printing, designing, management of stock and print finishing is a short list of the roles and responsibilities bestowed upon me.

My responsibilities at M&S included operating tills, serving customers as quickly as possible, all while being polite and courteous at all times. Handling money and ensuring the customer gets given the correct change was absolutely paramount; something I could accomplish easily.Strong knowledge of the layout of the store was also necessary, for answering any customer queries regarding whereabouts of products.
