Working in the rapidly rising field of South Australian space research and development, I work with a wide range of engineers and designers to produce space-grade satellite systems and assemblies as well as rugged sensor packages and satellite uplink systems. I have also played a key role in the development of Fleet's manufacturing arm and workshops.

Operating mostly out of a field near Swan Reach, we have so far provided three major 24-hour events for the public, and ensuring a safe game environment and meeting/exceeding all requirements from SA Health during this pandemic.My role has included:- Administration and support of this small business in the establishment and running of large-scale (80+ player) military simulation field games.- Field survey including establishing safe communication ranges.- Creation and maintenance of field maps using GIS databases.- On-the-ground refereeing, driving vehicles during play and scenario running.- Safety and firearms range-officer duties.- Administrative duties including tracking player contact details and providing info-packs to prospective players as well as acting as a first contact for public enquiries.- Adaptation of rule sets to suit play and conditions including writing of new material and playtesting.- Maintenance of master rulebook.

From the retirement of my Sensei in late 2012, I have managed the Abbe Budo School, a small martial arts academy focusing on Japanese sword work, staff work and hand-to-hand skills as well as self-defense.
