JAMAR Technologies is a company that sells Traffic Counting Equipment along with Distance Measuring Instruments. The traffic counters are used to do volume, speed and classification counts for vehicles that travel over any type of roadway. This data is gathered for the Federal Highway Administration and State Department of Transportation's. I sold this equipment to federal and state entities along with engineering firms that did contract work in order to gather these traffic counts. The Distance Measuring Instruments were vehicle installed devices that interfaced with the transmissions on trucks or cars. The device would detect the pulses given off by the vehicle speed sensor installed by the factory. The device could then be calibrated to give extremely accurate distance measurements without having to leave the vehicle. I sold this equipment to street paving companies, phone companies, cable companies, railroads and public works departments that utilize this type of equipment.

I worked High Risk Collections for DaimlerChrysler Financial Services. The company is now known as Chrysler Financial as they are no longer associated with Daimler AG. While I worked for DCFS my job was to handle delinquent car loans and leases that were anywhere from 30-90 days past due. I would contact the customer by phone in order to negotiate payments to get the account back up to date. If I was unable to reach suitable payment arrangements with the customer I would then hire a repossession agent to secure the vehicle. If the customer was not willing to surrender the vehicle voluntarily I would use skip tracing to locate the customer or at least get in contact with relatives to relay messages. This type of information gathered was also given to the repossession agent to help them secure the vehicle.
