I have a world of experience in retail - store set up, sourcing product, supplier negotiation, product management, staff management, marketing, store location, demographics, lease negotiations, logistics, frustrations. I have a great knowledge of property Australia wide and a large and loyal network of property agents, builders, developers, investors, Landlords, Leasing lawyers, Town Planners, Fit out people. I was a member of the Large Format Retail Association and continue to enjoy friendships with a number of the members. Now:I'm now always looking for that magic development/investment/Business. I enjoy advising people on negotiating their Lease and will negotiate leases on their behalf. I enjoy the challenge of looking at different types of business, seeing what makes them tick and then suggesting ways to make them better. I am a shareholder in a liquid fertiliser company Hi Tech Ag. I've been involved with this company from scratch and have enjoyed very much this company’s journey so far. My roll is an advisory one. The company is about building a healthy soil, which in turn means a stronger more resilient plant. This means using less sprays and far less chemical fertiliser destroying the microbial health of the soil. This is something I am extremely passionate about and am very proud to be involved in.I grew up on a farm - Dairy and Vegetable and have a great knowledge of both. I then worked in the outback on a Station property farming cattle, sheep and cropping (Wheat, Oats, Barley, Rice). I then worked in the off Shore Oil Industry where I found myself in a leading roll as a very young man managing some very tough men. Unbelievable experience which gave me a massive knowledge of so much. I then brought a small Stockfeed business and turned it into City Farmers :-) Bloody exciting and a great journey! I loved the people involved in this journey and am so grateful for their help and work, great friends and I miss working with them all!
