Currently, I am a Product Manager supporting a Commercial Insurance calculation engine and associated applications.I started out my career with Nationwide Insurance Co. specifically working within the Property and Casualty realm of business. Within a year I transitioned into a position in Productivity Solutions and promoted to an Analyst in the Business Consulting and Analysis job family. Shortly thereafter, my role within Nationwide Better Health became a supervisor over a dedicated unit servicing a potential 53,000 lives for a fortune 500 client. That experience led me to working with print/finish mail and document capture and imaging with DocSolutions, then moving onto Automated Workflow Distribution Specialist and a Consultant for Member Solutions shortly thereafter.In my current role I analyze complex business and user needs, define business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions and business strategies in turn providing business process management and technical consulting and expertise to management in resolving the most complex business problems. As a team member, I lead analysis and design of organizational structures, roles, responsibilities, governance, staffing, and sourcing to support business goals, strategies, and process architecture. Provides significant contribution in executing business unit level change such as change in business model, restructuring operations, new technologies, new programs, re-engineering, etc. My development of compelling business cases, including gaining senior management buy-in, to accomplish business objectives has propelled me in this position which I currently have.
