As Manager and Acting Director for REZ & Transmission Policy, I led a team of 10 professionals and was the REZ regulatory and policy lead, guiding the strategic delivery of critical initiatives under the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan. I oversaw the development and implementation of the REZ commercial policy framework, which involved collaborating with multifunctional teams and coordinating complex stakeholder relationships across government, industry, and regulatory bodies.Key achievements include:• Led the development of REZ legislation and policy frameworks under strict timeline constraints.• Coordinated the REZ commercial policy and market modeling in collaboration with Powerlink, which informed the Queensland Energy Plan, REZ Technical Design Paper and the REZ Roadmap.• Conducted high-level stakeholder negotiations with government departments and energy market bodies to ensure the Queensland Government’s voice was central in transmission policy reform.In delivering the REZ Roadmap under the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan, I established multifunctional teams, created targeted policies, and built strategic relationships with a diverse network of stakeholders. I spearheaded collaborative policy design involving Powerlink Queensland, internal experts, other agencies, and external stakeholders, resulting in the delivery of the draft REZ Roadmap within just 4 months. Additionally, I led the design and execution of a comprehensive engagement program across Queensland, which included surveys, focus groups, workshops, and formal submissions.

During my tenure at Queensland Treasury’s Energy Team, I had two primary roles: account management and policy development.As an account manager, I oversaw the performance of government-owned energy entities, including Powerlink, CS Energy, Stanwell, and CleanCo.In addition to that, I played a vital role in briefing the Executive leadership on a wide range of topics, including PHES studies, hydrogen initiatives, energy market modeling, and transmission access reform.I also led the development of energy sector policy reforms, such as drafting shareholder input into the government-owned generator portfolio renewal strategies.Stakeholder engagement was a core focus, involving frequent discussions and negotiations with government departments, energy entities, and key market stakeholders.

Delivered classes from early childhood to high school and adult. Collaborated within a professional team to coordinate curriculum materials, unit programming, and resource acquisition. Developed examination assessments, rubrics, and assessment materials for reporting. Managed administrative tasks like updating student records and reports. Coordinated across teaching group to ensure alignment with school curriculum expectations. Communicated with parents through meetings to monitor student performance and behaviour.
