Seeking opportunities to change the field of education and business. Coming from a diverse background in business development I transitioned careers through the New York City Teacher Fellows. In association with Hunter College, I became a Special Education Teacher with a concentration on middle school mathematics. The average pupil expenditure for NYC public schools is roughly $18,000. Tuition at the Private Jesuit run Fordham Prep located in the bronx is $17,500. I began a private tutoring company that links qualified teachers and tutors with private clientele throughout Westchester and New York City. Facilitated customer interactions with third party candidates. While teaching I became enamored with the technologies being utilized in both public and private educational settings : Dropbox, Blackboard, Noodle and witnessed the complications of implementing DOE wide databases like SESIS and ARIS both underutilized and inefficient. I have been primarily focused on investment opportunities for the past 3 years. I have a great deal of knowledge of financial markets and asset management. I enjoy embracing new technology when it works and presents organic growth capabilities. I began investing my own funds just after graduating from Fordham University. When investing in a : company, stock, idea, digital currency. I look for companies that will thrive and outpace competitors. I am a passionate, proactive and approachable facilitator. I am willing to take on new tasks and duties and always willing to question and comment collaboratively with others. I insist on working with trustworthy, honest individuals who appreciate hard work and understand the importance of appropriate business acumen. Two quotes from my favorite economist: “Successful investing is the anticipating the anticipations of others.” “The avoidance of taxes is the only intellectual pursuit that still carries any reward”
