Developed and implemented survey questions (individual and scale items) for numerous and diverse employee populations within Amazon Worldwide Operations, employing both psychometrics and qualitative data (focus groups). Integrated survey response data with objective business metrics (attendance, performance), providing data-driven actionable insights to assist business leaders improve employee engagement and manager development.Selected Accomplishments:• Guided development and psychometric testing (including confirmatory factor analysis, item response theory) of Leadership Behavior Index, a core manager assessment tool involved in assessment of leader performance for all L4 – L8 Worldwide Operations managers. This tool resulted in assessments with greater transparency and actionability among these leaders, while maintain the privacy of the survey employees.• Developed R script to consistently identify non-purposeful employee responses, improving data quality and insight accuracy.• Developed and implemented quality assurance R script, identifying and flagging product KPIs and SOP for regular content review and revision.

Managed research projects end-to-end, including participant recruitment and handling, material development, statistical analysis, and report presentation.Selected Accomplishments:• Mined large quantitative and qualitative data sets for patterns and trends, achieving publication of policy recommendations in the Justice System Journal, a peer-reviewed journal for the National Center for State Courts.• Managed multiyear, NSF-funded research project studying the impact of knowledge on trust in governmental institutions. Findings were published in the peer-reviewed journal, PLOS One.
