In this new role, I’m generally responsible for the operational oversight of the Waco office. I will be working closely with Human Resources, Marketing, IT, Finance/Billing and Facilities and will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the Waco Office.

Christopher is also currently Gray Reed’s Contracts Administrator and responsible for maintaining the Firm’s agreements including preparing, analyzing, reviewing, drafting and negotiating various vendor and service agreements, ranging from standard to highly complex. Prior to joining the firm, Christopher spent nearly 17 years in government contracting with the County of Los Angeles.

Manages one of the sections responsible for the development, oversight and administrative compliance of contracts for the Department of Health Services. Supervises the operations and activities of contracting supervisors and staff providing contract development and administration services to obtain a variety of contract services; plans, assigns, reviews and evaluates the work of contracts supervisors and analysts.

Investigates and makes recommendations in connection with departmental operations; including policies, functions, organization, and procedures to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Department. Analyzes, evaluates, and makes recommendations regarding the effects of new policies and procedures on line operations. Monitors staffing assignments within Detention Services Bureau facilities and coordinates the release of designated staff assignments.

Quality Improvement Team Coordinator for Probation Department facilities evaluating the compliance with mandates of the Department of Justice. Coordinated the site visits of a variety of other County agencies for inspections to evaluate the compliance with mandates of the Department of Justice. Generated a comprehensive deficiency report for each facility based on all of the agencies findings.

Oriented juveniles at Probation Department facilities to facility rules and regulations and conducted various tests to provide referrals to a variety of resources. Prepared requested statistical documentation for facility Superintendent and Department Executive Managers. Coordinated visits with Attorneys, Psychologists, Probation Officers, and Law Enforcement agencies

Assigned to the 40th Infantry Division (Mechanized), Military Police CompanyMilitary police officers (MP) protect the lives and property on Army installations by enforcing military laws and regulations. They also control traffic, prevent crime and respond to all emergencies. MP's provide security services on military bases around the world. They also conduct law enforcement functions and take on investigations of minor crimes. Military police perform patrol duties, make arrests and enforce military law.Military police are also called upon to serve overseas and in battle situations. When deployed, MP's provide battlefield support, secure camps and outposts and assist in security details and dignitary protection. They also perform police functions in occupied areas and provide support and assistance to local police forces in maintaining order during and after wartime.
