I am currently an Aerospace Systems Engineer at Blue Origin working as part of a New Grad Rotation Program and currently working with the New Shepard system. I recently graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering. While at my internships at Raytheon, I helped improve radar models and simulation MATLAB programs with added error checking and performed trade studies on next generation UAV radar combinations. Through my time at Cal Poly, I have worked extensively with systems engineering through formal MBSE courses and project experience. I was part of the systems team and led the safety team for my university's NASA Student Launch Initiative Competition for 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 competition years where we placed 9th and 19th overall. For the 2022-2023 school year, I was part of the systems team within my school's Cubesat project where I helped with risk mitigation and structural requirement verifications. For the 2023-2024 school year, I assisted my senior design team to design a power system analysis for a lunar rover for the RASC-AL competition Through out my courses, projects, and internships I have become very familiar with MBSE programs such as Core, SYSML, and Cameo. I have also become familiar with MATLAB in aerospace applications and radar modeling.
