With over 25 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design, I am now a Teacher of Engineering at Tameside College, where I share my passion and expertise with the next generation of engineers. I have a strong background in computer-aided design (CAD), SOLIDWORKS, and Fusion 360, as well as multiple certifications in additive manufacturing and CAM. Prior to joining Tameside College, I was a Mechanical Technician at The University of Manchester, where I supported various research projects and maintained the department's equipment and facilities. I also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at EDM Ltd, where I designed and manufactured components and assemblies for aerospace and defence clients. My core competencies include mechanical engineering, design, fabrication, testing, and teaching. I am committed to delivering high-quality education and training, and inspiring students to pursue careers in engineering and innovation.
