I (continue to) teach classes to undergraduates encompassing the topics Sustainable Development and Environmental Policy. We dialectically explore literature from Resilience Thinking, Political/Historical Ecology and Environmental History. Class is meant to be both theoretical and practical. To enable such praxis, all classes are taught heuristically through discussion, collaboration and interaction, and many are tacitly held in the field: meandering throughout Stockholm Municipality's green spaces.

I occasionally write articles with a combined focus on food production, urban metabolism, food security, biophysical erosion and societal health. I am very interested in connecting cross-flowing scale interactions (material, capital, information, culture etc.) with society's expressive feelings (of these interactions) through historically distinct arts and humanities. My perspective openly encompasses Resilience Thinking, Political Ecology, as well as the Environmental Humanities.

I ran my own health, fitness and wellness business based on a quasi-mindfulness philosophy. I guess you could say that I was more of a 'sustainable lifestyle' coach, as I focused on an array of connections related to health. I began with an emphasis on fitness. However, being reflexive of my own teaching techniques, the different responses (both psychological and physiological) from each individual client, the many different stresses that plagued each person's life and the highly neglected influence and importance of food and diet, I felt obligated to address more health related variables than fitness. I emphasized the importance of a dynamic balance between fitness, food (promoting and connecting with local farmers and their produce), mental well-being and daily reflexivity (how have I created tension in my body and mind?). Good Health should not be seen as a moment in which one can achieve but a continual process that deserves continual nourishment (and celebration).
