In order to encourage sensitive and harmonious architectural design to protect thevisual integrity, architectural spirit and long-term property values of Watermark, TheArchitectural Review Committee (“ARC”) has established the Design Guidelines(“Guidelines”) and Review Procedures contained in this manual. In addition to theserequirements, the provisions in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions andRestriction and the Bylaws of Watermark also bind all property owners. No structureof any kind on a residential lot within Watermark shall be erected or altered until theproposed site plan, building plans, construction materials, and colors have beenapproved in writing by the Architectural Review Committee.The Architectural Review Committee has been established to administer thearchitectural review for new construction and proposed additions/modifications toexisting structures within Watermark. The ARC is responsible for establishing designguidelines, design review procedures, and design review submission requirements,and makes these available to property owners.
