As a senior graduate student and first-year postdoc, I worked with another postdoc and a graduate student to generate a course with the goal of scientific publication. Both iterations of the course were able to publish research in scholarly journals. A study of the class was published in an educational journal.

I generated a syllabus, assignments and exams for CH221: Chemistry for Science Majors. I also served as instructor in 2010.

I researched, maintained equipment, managed purchasing and trained equipment users as the most basic functions of my employment. My research involved production of dense-ceramic targets for use in the sputtering of oxide dielectrics. I also use aqueous chemistries to sustainably produce novel dielectric and semiconductor layers for use in thin-film.
