Maintain well logs and maintenance on various well sites

Worked as Work Center Supervisor in charge of maintenance and repairs conducted by theweld shop. Led the work center through two major training cycles, a maintenance review andtwo deployments with the USS Lake Champlain to the Middle Eastern theater with completemission success. Managed 4 members in the completion of over 4,000 emergent repairs andvital welding services helping maintain the ship’s combat readiness. Led team of 3 inreplacing two eight inch valves in the ship’s vital fire-main system saving the Navy over16,000 dollars and directly contributing to the ship’s overall mission. Also from 06-08 Iworked aboard the USS Boxer and was deployed to the Middle East and South Pacific. Whileonboard Boxer I was one of the top workers leading the maintenance and welding efforts

Worked rebuilding and re welding oil field drill bits for various companies. Dutiesincluded cutting the bits down in order to spread them to a bigger size or to replace thebearings and o-rings inside, welding the drill bits back together and testing theirpressure and cleaning and painting them after the tool joints were rethreaded.
