As part of the GBTN (Global Beta Test Network) program I have performed remote QA testing for a variety of projects. These tests are mostly short individual sessions done at home lasting only a few hours at most following a provided test plan for a majority of the projects.

I was a software developer on the Cadence team, which works on the scheduling module for outpatient and specialty clinics for Hyperspace along with the various ways it integrates with other modules of Epic's software suite. A majority of the development was part of their MUMPS database server backend and web development (using C#, Javascript and later Typescript, HTML/CSS/SCSS in Visual Studio) as part of the development of their Hyperspace web application along with some development to maintain and make necessary new features in Visual Basic Classic (Using Visual Basic 6.0) for the existing Hyperspace application. Certain projects required using SQL for knowing how data was being provided for reporting and development of web services for some customers to be able to interface with the scheduling functionality outside of Epic's applications.
