Knowledge of standard office principles, practices and procedures, as well as those related to accounting and finance. Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficient in the use of standard office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, telephone systems and office automation systems with ability to use 10-key calculator by touch. Skilled proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows and Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) with ability to quickly grasp specialized automated accounting systems. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Detail-oriented with ability to organize and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and accurately complete all assignments. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to maintain all information in a highly confidential and organized manner. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment toward the successful achievement of goals. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
