As a group Leader with GM/Ventec on Project V, I supervise the Burnin and Final Test #2 departments which test the VOCSN ventilators for Mechanical or software defects. We push the ventilators to levels beyond the usage in the field in hopes to find non-conforming parts in the house and not in the field. As a Leader, I have taken it upon myself to also assist with weekend manpower forecasting and have become a go to for many departments on my shift. I have created processes in FT#2 that retest NC’s for known issues as an effort to reduce the number of Non-Conforming parts that escalate up to the NC department. I have also focused on improving system integrity as we did not have a system to track machine failures from shift to shift. I have created a process improvement that we are hoping to implement that would decrease the opportunity for human errors which will reduce cost and allow us to the ability to track VOCSN throughout the entire life cycle. I am certified in world class manufacturing and have used a lot of these principals to increase the profitability of the area while focusing on superior quality in each unit. Show less
