My responsibilities include:• Budget holder for budgets (£2m) as defined through Business Planning Process ensuring that budget is tracked and scopes delivered against.• Delivery of Gap Analysis against Process Safety Framework to develop and deliver Process Safety Improvement Plan & budget.• Coordinate with Technical Function to ensure functional priorities are understood, reflected and delivered in the plan.• Provide oversight of progress against plan, highlight risks to delivery, mitigate where possible and escalate as appropriate.• Prepares or co-ordinates analysis, presentations, briefing notes, speeches for the Operations Support Manager.

My main duties and responsibilities included replacement of obsolete Emergency Shutdown and Fire & Gas safety systems across Centrica’s offshore gas platforms. Undertake study and conceptual design through to implementation and closeout. • Responsible for ensuring projects are conducted in compliance with Centrica project management and engineering management of change procedures.• Responsible for the definition, planning, securing approved funding and identifying resource requirements.• Ensure procurement of engineering services and hardware are conducted in compliance with Centrica contracts procedures. • Develop project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes• Develop project documentation, namely technical drawings, implementation and commissioning procedures and closeout packs.

My responsibilities include: To Project Engineer/Manage individual projects or portfolios of engineering projects in terms of Cost, Schedule, Quality and Risk, co-ordinate project activity of EPC contractors and internal departments.• Responsible for portfolio of electrical projects which can range in size from very minor (£k) up to £10m.• Electrical portfolio pf projects range from upgrading UPS systems, emergency lighting, and fire water pump control panels. • Responsible for development and implementation of appropriate project controls for the project portfolio; Cost, Schedule, Quality, Change and Risk.• Responsible for the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) performance of projects and portfolio of projects.

Twelve month placement supporting a Windfarm Site Manager during the establishment of an Operations & Maintenance team and acting as the integration between Lincs Wind Farm project and O&M readiness. My responsibilities include:• Support project team through the construction phase by monitoring turbine assembly progress at a Siemens site in Esbjerg, Denmark.• Carry out snagging activities in line with Siemens’ snagging procedure before loading turbines onto jacket vessel.• Rolled out a Vissim People Tracking System used by marine coordinators to visually locate personnel whereabouts on turbines and transfer vessels.• Detail and propose annual budget to cover marine coordination core services and hardware.• Act as point of contact with Siemens Wind Power to ensure compliance with an O&M service agreement.• Responsible for a range of procurement activities namely; arrange fork lift hire, procure spare people tracking units, and involvement in tendering process for four turbine transfer vessels.• Communicate operations and maintenance readiness updates at monthly project meetings.• Research and propose local/regional storage options for strategic turbine spare components.• Responsible for the commissioning of Vissim CCTV cameras located on an offshore substation.

Joined the Engineering & Integrity department and took up a one year development placement as a control & instrumentation engineer. My responsibilities include:• Develop instrument datasheets for an Expro Flow Line Clamp-on Meter.• Arrange maintenance routines for the calibration of a nucleonic level transmitter on offshore platforms. • Developed engineering solutions with Emerson which involved the replacement of an obsolete level switch to a vibrating fork level switch technology. • Write procedure for uploading and downloading software to Allen Bradley SLC 5/02 PLC.• Participate in offshore platform HAZOP workshops and take ownership of investigating actions.• Develop, plan and execute a functional safety SIL testing programme at Centrica’s onshore gas facility, in line with standard IEC 61511.

My responsibilities and main project include:• Installation of a SICK OS2000 safety scanner system to protect against unauthorised access to a hazardous area.- Selection and procurement of the OS2000 safety scanner system, consisting of three LMS211 lasers, controlled by two UE4470 Flexible Safety Controllers.- Set up a demo laser system in the workshop and carried out tests on a range of software configurations.- Produced control panel layouts and termination & wiring drawings.- Supervised the installation of control panels and laser units in accordance with Corus’ safe systems of work.- Lead role in commissioning activities with support from SICK vendors.- Developed and rolled out a guidance documents to support future changes to scanner software configurations.• Corus1 Programme – Introduction of Maintenance & Projects SAP Modules to Corus workforce.
