With over ten years of experience in clinical laboratory and blood manufacturing operations, I am a leader who is passionate about delivering quality laboratory and blood banking services and fostering collaborative relationships with clinical and hospital teams. As a laboratory generalist and blood bank scientist at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, a 412 bed, level II trauma hospital with cardiac, stroke, NICU, sepsis, oncology and other advanced specialty care, I am responsible for maintaining quality assurance, timeliness of results, delivery of blood services, and overall accuracy in laboratory and blood bank testing.In my role, I specialize in blood banking, blood bank quality assurance, trauma and Massive Transfusion Protocol services, blood group serology, pre-transfusion testing, antibody identification, and fetal-maternal testing. Additionally, I am well-versed in PCR testing and core lab functions in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, body fluids and urinalysis.
