As a full time Business Development Manager, I do the work that our lawyers do not always have time for, and create the opportunities for our firm and our clients to succeed in business.I also fill in the gaps by making introductions across our trusted contact list. Connecting all manor of professional service providers to help generate business leads. Accountants, Banks, Wealth Managers, FX, Investors, Barristers to name a few.Some examples:- Generating client introductions from one department/ sector to another. So perhaps an accountant well known to our Tech Sector Lawyers who would benefit from meeting our Real Estate team- Exploring the added value opportunities for our clients. Of particular relevance when considering the global reach of Gowling WLG- Connecting referral partners . The one unifying factor is that we know, and have established trust across all connections. Far more than a provisional connection on Linkedin. - Market research and competitor analysis in our target sectors (Primarily, but not limited to, Technology and the Automotive industries.
