CurrentI have been a corporate attorney and counselor advising private equity firms and growth companies for my entire career. I am a Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer and member of the Executive Committee and Partnership Committee of General Atlantic, a leading global alternative asset firm providing capital and strategic support for the world’s most innovative companies. I am actively engaged in our firm's investment, fund raising, operating and compliance activities. I advise the firm on the full range of PE activities, from structuring minority and majority investments to supporting portfolio companies on leverage and exit transactions. My expertise includes domestic and international tax structuring, incentive plan design, corporate governance, IPO preparation, public M&A, debt financing, fund formation and litigation management. I counsel across all sectors of General Atlantic's investment activities and have particular expertise in healthcare, financial services, internet and media, emerging market consumer and business services. I have been engaged in transactions in more than 20 countries. I also advise management teams of our portfolio companies to help them navigate the challenges arising at all stages of a company’s growth and provide counsel and support in their M&A activities.
