After years of working at the Miami-Dade County Building Department, in 2013, I decided to leave the public sector and venture in to entrepreneurship. Shortly thereafter, I founded Express Permit Solutions (EPS).In only a few short years, EPS has established itself as one of the leading permit processing companies in South Florida. We have become the expediters of choice for companies such as JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, Colliers, Humana, Conviva, Crocker Partners, Extended Stay America, Baywood Hotels & Pincho Factory to name a few. We have processed permits for projects such as IKEA Miami, Bowlero Dolphin Mall, Pincho Factory Hialeah, Kendall, Pinecrest & Doral, Carrollton High School, Fight Club Doral, Verizon Wireless HQ, Starbucks HQ, Pollo Tropical HQ, Ford Motors AV Facility, Regus Spaces & Microsoft HQ. We also process special events permits for the PGA Tour at the Trump Doral, Leon Medical Centers Annual Company Picnic and Festival of the Arts at the Falls. In 2014, my wife & business partner, Rosy Leal, left her position as a Fire & Life Safety Specialist at Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to join me in growing EPS. Today she is the V.P. of Operations for EPS, and is responsible for managing our team of consultants on a daily basis to ensure every project EPS takes on receives the attention required to go from plans to permit faster than any other permit processing company in South Florida.EPS is now the largest permit processing firm in South Florida and the only BBB Accredited Firm with an A+ rating. Our Tampa office is on track to open its doors by November of 2019.
