Currently, the primary programs I work with are the CSU's unmediated resource sharing service using Alma (CSU+) and traditional Interlibrary Loan using ILLiad.

As the Electronic Resources Librarian I maintained the library's electronic resources. These resources included eBooks, electronic journals, and online databases. I ensured this content was available through the Utah State University library website and worked to restore access when items weren't available. I also worked with vendors to negotiate prices of journal, eBook, and database subscriptions and purchases.

San Luis Obispo, California

I provide borrowing services at the Robert E. Kennedy Library at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO). I order books and articles for our patrons from other libraries and process them when they arrive. I mostly use the ILLiad program to find books and articles along with library catalog and databases. A large part of my job is making sure copyright is payed for required documents and checking our own systems to see if we own an item before it is ordered. I also run statistics for the all Resource Sharing service at our university and answer questions from patrons.Over the past couple years my duties have grown to include training new staff and student workers, configuring Resource Sharing functions in Alma, and participating in consortia wide committees. I was asked to chair the Resource Sharing Functional Committee (RSFC) and serve on the Unified Library Management System (ULMS) Coordinating Committee where I work to create and modify Resource Sharing policies and procedures at the consortia level. The RSFC also holds online training sessions and answers staff questions through email, phone, and instant messaging.While in this position I have also volunteered with the Resource Sharing community of practice known as I-SPIE. I have helped plan several conferences at other CSU campuses and took the lead in planning the conference when Cal Poly SLO was the host (2017). I also created the new I-SPIE website and gathered statistics for the consortia.

I processed and filled requests from Utah State University faculty and graduate students for books currently owned by USU. After processing the request I scanned articles into PDF's and delivered the article to the patron digitally. I was asked to help start the Document Delivery program and I edited and delivered flyers and mass emails to help market the program.Before working as the Document Delivery Staff I worked as a student employee where I mailed books, scanned articles into PDF's, and input books from other libraries into the computer system.

I wrote and edited for a bimonthly childrens newspaper. The paper was targeted at elementary and middle school aged children. I stopped working for Cache Valley Kids when the publisher moved and the paper was shut down.

I cover both the crime beat and the student government beat for the Utah Statesman. I also wrote articles on various other subjects when there is an opportunity. For the crime beat I met with local law enforcement and I interviewed people to find out what happened when a crime was committed on campus. For the student government beat I attended the executive council meetings and sponsored events to inform students of what was happening on campus.

I worked for the Philips Van Heusen Corperation during summers, holidays, and weekends for the first few years of college. The Van Heusen Corperation has three stores that I worked at in the Park City area. I started at Bass shoes, but also worked for IZOD and Van Huesen. I opened and closed the store, directed sales associates, cashiered, and took money to the bank. I had a beginning management position for most of my time there.
