Solutions Architect in the Division of Information Technology’s Bureau of Technology Strategy & Project Management to evaluate the CIR and the Division of Disease Control’s (DDC) business and technology needs and propose technical solutions that align with the agency’s enterprise systems, network architecture and technology stack.The Solutions Architect will assist with the evaluation and assessment of current and strategic solutions, be guided by the Project Manager to translate business needs into technical systems solutions, work with vendors and internal staff to propose and implement new technologies, assess security risks, lead development teams in design and best practices, evaluate database designs, and develop roadmaps for technology and framework upgrades.Reporting to the: DOHMH Assistant Commissioner of the Bureau of Application Development and DBA, and the CIO of the DOHMH

Act as link between the business units and IT staff. Work closely with business units to understand how they operate in order to best help meet their needs.Integration of Enterprise Wide Data Warehouse, for capturing into a single source of all client/customer data, Constituent Journey, Transactions, Social Networks, and Segmentation, by creating Product Roadmap via Technology Roadmap, to enhance User Journey, Marketing touch points, Business Process Enhancement (Change Management) Business stakeholders, in effort to enhance and improve Monetary channels (Omni channel)• Lead implementation of enterprise wide software projects in a project management capacity • Liaise with team members and project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Communicate information regarding work plans, schedules, and related requirements• Drive the requirements gathering process, work with business units to determine needs for new applications and features and enhancements to existing applications• Lead QA process for application implementations and deployments• Create and Maintain: business requirements documents, Technology Strategic Analysis, functional specifications, use cases, project plans, test plans and user guides.
