As the Structural Engineering Lead, I lead a team of engineers with the mission of achieving USF’s first static fire of a liquid rocket engine. My role involves:-Team Leadership: Guiding a team of multidisciplinary team of engineers through each phase, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment on design goals and technical standards.-End-to-End Development: Leading efforts to design, model in CAD, and conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for a mobile static fire structure stand tailored to withstand engine forces and conditions.-Manufacturing & Assembly Oversight: Coordinating fabrication, managing assembly, and conducting tests on the fire stand to validate strength, stability, and functionality.-Testing & Refinement: Overseeing final testing protocols, troubleshooting, and optimizing stand performance in preparation for the static fire test.

Collaborated within a multidisciplinary engineering team to fulfill contracts totaling approximately $2 million with U.S. military branches and other Department of Defense entities this year, ensuring solutions met strict government standards.Led the development and submission of SBIR and STTR proposals, securing critical funding opportunities for the company’s growth in the defense sector, and was hand-picked to travel out of state for engineering and business development opportunities with special forces groups.Collaborated with professors and industry experts on proposal development, attended industry conferences as a technical ambassador for business development, and participated in military briefings to help pivot the business on emerging national security needs.Served as the Technical Lead of the Platform Integrated Product Team, overseeing all projects related to vehicle systems (manned/unmanned ground, air, sea platforms, and components) in collaboration with the program manager and business development to drive the company’s efforts in a strong direction.Developed CAD models using SolidWorks for components and utilized additive manufacturing machinery to produce parts for military contracts, contributing to successful project completions.
