 Oversaw the redistribution of labor after a 2017 buyout of seven houseman. Performed a labor analysis and negotiated the distribution of job assignments among the existing houseman resulting in a $420,000 savings plus benefits. Introduced hiring extra and substitute room attendants, supervisors, and houseman to help mitigate overtime in the housekeeping department.  Streamlined the union supervisor’s delegation of work to room attendants to increase productivity. Audited room attendant assignments to ensure quotes were being met. Revoked room attendants leave early privileges per prior contractual union agreement for poor performance. Created templates and streamlined the purchasing of housekeeping items in the Adico purchasing system. Stabilized the department’s product inventory to reduce waste and over ordering.  Rebranded minibar waters size and price to increase consumption. Changed multiple minibar products to increase profits.  Facilitated rebranding of our linen from Frette to Garnier Thiebaut resulting in expected savings of $160,000 in 2019 linen projections. Oversee the labor and planning for the UNGA annually. Organize labor, purchase supplies and recruit task force to service multiple delegations simultaneously. Liaison point person for delegation security and Secret Service teams.  Work closely with Ecolab pest control on inspections of all guest rooms and preventative treatments along with restaurants, kitchens, and public spaces.  Implemented the city mandated 2019 Great Forest trash-recycling program. Purchased receptacle units and signage for all guest rooms along with back of the house trash bins and floor carts. Organized training for all team members on new process.   Helped create the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 housekeeping department budgets and capital expenditures.  Awarded Leader of Quarter and nominated for Big Apple hospitality leadership award.
