Hello Everyone,I am Seeking a challenging career with advancement opportunities!I bring along with me a Bachelor in Civil Engineering Technology, 18 years of manufacturing and production experience, from the production floor, to management and supervisory roles, and have spent the past 5 years working as an Industrial Engineer in the World of Aerospace.I have worked as a technician/line operator in many different industries over my career which have produced products such as polymers, textiles, perishable goods. Managed and Supervised Fabrication shops that produced Rebar and Laminated Glass for almost any structure you could imagine. I recently left a position as a Senior Industrial Engineering position for a Aerospace Manufacture, who specializes in bonding and assembly of flight control surfaces , both commercial and military, for many different customers across the globe.I just landed a Senior Mechanical Engineering role for a cyber technology company 12 miles from home.I really enjoy working with others and sharing knowledge across all departments to support business needs as they arise. Looking forward to finding the perfect career for me going forward and the new challenges that follow.

• Provide knowledge of work processes and standards required in applying various rules and procedures used in the engineering and fabrication of various sizes and shapes of rebar. • Plan work procedures based on standard practices and data used to apply to work projects in order to identify problems using engineering policies, theories, principles, and concepts. • Use resources but not limited to engineering manuals, standard publications, and technical materials to obtain pertinent information and data used in the engineering and fabrication of rebar to meet contractor, customer, and DOT requirements.• Use computer programs and software for analysis, design, project tracking, solving engineering problems, and facilitating work. • Conduct blueprint takeoffs of most any concrete structure as well as quote work accordingly based on these takeoffs.• Manage rebar divisions logistics operations in the most cost effective way possible. • Manage inventory of materials and parts in accordance with production and shipping schedules as well as fluctuating steel prices.• Create and manage production and delivery schedules as well as keep a reference log to identify and fix any trends that may arise. • Conduct quality control checks to ensure quality production and customer satisfaction. • Speak directly to customers to confirm delivery dates based on priority and weather constraints. • Manage employees, their files, and assist HR with hiring and firing of employees. • Monitor scrap rates, man hours per ton, gross margins, percentages of standard, commercial, and manufactured jobs. • Administer weekly safety meetings. Implement OSHA requirements and Lean Manufacturing. • Operated KRB Shear Line, KRB hydraulic and electric bending tables, Stemma coil bender and bending table.
