As a seasoned IT leader with over 12 years of experience in directing and managing technology initiatives, I bring a wealth of expertise in policy development, project management, and web development. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology for Sheboygan County, I have successfully led the IT department for over 9 years, driving innovation, optimizing systems, and developing strategic policies that align with organizational goals.Prior to my current role, I held a similar position at Lakeshore Technical College for over 3 years, where I managed comprehensive IT projects and contributed to the advancement of the college's technological infrastructure. My tenure there solidified my skills in leadership and project execution.Beginning my career as a Web Developer, I spent 5 years honing my technical skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, XML, ASP.NET, and JavaServer Pages (JSP). This hands-on experience laid a strong foundation for my transition into IT management roles.My educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, an Associate of Science (AS) in Web and Software Development from Lakeshore Technical College, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.I am also a proud veteran, having served as a Damage Controlman in the United States Coast Guard from 1994 to 1998.
