• Functions as a shift leader for the Operations team.• Participates in training staff assigned to them and works with employees to correctdeficiencies.• Attends and participates in Process and Safety Training Sessions; stays abreast ofnew trends, technologies, and innovations in the wastewater field.• Monitors control panels and adjusts valves and gates manually or by remote controlto regulate process flows.• Observes variations in operating conditions; interprets plant data and test results todetermine treatment process performance.• Monitor and adjust computerized SCADA system and process control software.• Starts and stops pumps, engines, and generators to control flow of wastewaterthrough filtering, settling, aeration, and sludge digestion processes.• Maintain, compile and update plant operations log and reports; perform and recordmathematical calculations related to plant operational activities.• Collects wastewater samples and conducts laboratory tests.• Evaluates process control data to determine process control adjustments for optimumplant performance.• Operates, maintains, repairs and adjusts treatment plant pumps, process equipmentand power generating equipment.• Monitors and maintains chemical feed equipment and chemical inventories used inthe treatment process• Operates motorized equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, articulated wheelloaders and dump trucks.• Provides supervision and training to assigned treatment plant personnel.• Administers programs dealing with training and mentors less certified operators andoperators-in-training.• Participates in on call program on a rotational basis

* Performs semi-skilled and skilled work in the operations and maintenance of reclaimed wastewater facilities and systems including, but not limited to, wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, water treatment facilities, filtration systems, wells, pump stations, turn-outs, pressure reducing stations, controls, grounds, and reservoirs; may train new or lower-level workers.* Operates and maintains the water production system, including related facilities and equipment.* Operates, maintains, and ensures functionality of water reclamation/ wastewater systems; maintains and cleans collection system lines; performs basic wastewater treatment processes.* Collects and performs basic chemical tests on water or reclaimed wastewater samples; performs field tests for temperature, pH, and chlorine residual; inspects, transports, and replaces chlorine cylinders.* Installs, maintains, and repairs generators, compressors, pumps, chemical equipment, valves, motors, switching equipment, meters, etc.; makes regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance and repair needs, including alarm malfunctions.* Calibrates and adjusts telemetry signals and records readings; enters confined spaces to check wells, motors, and pumps; maintains, repairs, and replaces hydraulic control valves and electrical controls and equipment.* Performs skilled work in assembling, laying, and aligning water, reclaimed water/wastewater pipes; locates and repairs leaks in water or reclaimed water/wastewater lines.* Performs manual labor and facilities/grounds maintenance work; performs construction work and operates trucks and a variety of construction and maintenance equipment; services equipment and keeps related records; requisitions materials, supplies, and equipment.* Uses office automation to input and retrieve data, and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA), which is a computer system used to monitor and control the water/wastewater systems.

* Reads and records consumption of residential and commercial water meters with mobile and hand-held reading devices and manual reads; verifies that readings arewithin parameters and troubleshoots problems related to meters and readingequipment.* Installs, repairs and inspects water meters, meter pits and meter reading equipment,valves, pressure regulators and flow testing meters.* Responds to customer service requests, not limited to: connections, disconnects,rereading meters, checking for leaks, etc. and may be required to respond toemergency callouts or assist the operation crews with system repairs.

* Coordination of multi-department teams in order to execute top sales accounts.* Hosts Business wide meeting to assign projects and track progress for top level sales accounts. * Trains new staff and develops Standard Order Processes to align with company goals. * Data analysis and interpretationLearning and teaching new technology and software's to fellow coworkers.* Experienced with: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Drive, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Business Software.
