Typical Duties & Responsibilities•Conducting field research, intrusive testing, sample collection, regulatory research, library research, problem solving, delegation and coordination of work as appropriate; preparation, review and editing of reports following FDEP SOP’s; and maintaining an understanding of the applicable environmental regulations.•Investigating property and conducting Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments.•Assess site conditions and make judgments in the field and office with regard to environmental risk at property.•Project Management in training, and support services for project managers for Phase I, Sampling & Monitoring Projects.•Researching and writing technical reports, including tables, figures, and assembling appendices using Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and other software. •Maintaining positive relations and communications with ERMI staff, prospects, clients, government contacts, and vendors.•Field tasks involving physical labor, including heavy lifting of equipment or supplies, operating a core drill, hand-augering, and related physical tasks in various temperatures and weather conditions. •Frequent travels to field projects, including some overnights. •Responsible operation of company equipment and vehicles; compliance with traffic laws.•Maintain OSHA HAZWOPER 40 hour Certification.
