My passion is building. My excitement lies in the process of the projects I work on. I am a third-generation general contractor. I began in this line of work my sophomore year of high school when I started mixing and carrying mud for my family’s tile business. Following this initial exposure, I got into home framing, tile setting, and obtained my general contractors license. I then began delving into construction management by leading small additions, kitchen, and bathroom re-models. In the 80’s I worked for a company called Conant Construction. It was here that I solidified my desire to steer-head operations. Starting as a superintendent, and advancing to project manager, and eventually to vice president – it was apparent that custom home building was a trade I did not want to put down. In 2002, I was hired into RDM General Contractors as a project manager. This company allowed me a platform to once again get into the midst of projects and oversee the construction of houses from beginning to end. Witnessing the transformation, and understanding all of the elements that need to be perfectly in order to achieve it is a very rewarding job. I believe I fit into RDM’s mission, the way it does my own personal motives: to continuously pursue a reputation for excellence.
