Chief of the operations cell and coordinating staff officer for all tactical operations within the brigade.• While serving as brigade S3, the brigade was submitted for the Army Superior Unit Award and the Meritorious Unit Commendation for actions related to Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) 09-11.• During OIF 09-11, managed all aspects of force protection / security operations for the largest US base in Iraq, Victory Base Complex (VBC), with over 50,000 personnel which saw over 1,000 vehicles and 7,000 individuals enter daily. • During OIF 09-11 assisted in the planning and execution of two United States Presidential visits to Iraq.• Developed and implemented a targeting process for full spectrum combat operations which was recognized by a senior mentor as the best he had ever seen.Commanded a 108 Soldier mechanized infantry company prepared for deployment worldwide within 24 hours and executing missions along the entire spectrum of conflict in any theater of operations. Maintained and accounted for over 24 combat vehicles and equipment valued in excess of $25 million.• Overcame numerous obstacles to successfully defeat over 300 Soldiers during an 18 hour simulated battle at the National Training Center. My company was the only company out of eight to be recognized for outstanding tactical achievement by the brigade commander.• With 50% less preparation then contemporaries, my company earned the award for best company out of four on M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle qualification (Bradley Table VIII), the best squad out of 36 during day/night live fire, and the best platoon out of 12 for combined arms live fire qualification (Bradley Table XII).

Excellent ratings “Indicates that the contractor’s performance within the area of evaluation clearly exceeds contractual requirements.” The only area not rated “excellent" concerned corrective action. It was not observed because no corrective actions were ever issued.• The COR stated the “Overall performance has been superior to date” and that his “Chain of Command is very pleased with the performance of Triple Canopy.” In addition, the COR summarized the report as follows: “Triple Canopy has met or exceeded all requirements under this task order to date. Their management team on COB Basra is very professional and is always finding ways to improve their service.”• In a 20-day period, planned, executed, and managed the mobilization of approximately 670 personnel on time and on budget allowing Triple Canopy to begin the period of performance on time and meeting all contract requirements.
