Chris Linn has served his entire career with FCL, joining the company in 1986 and becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2022 after serving as the Chief Operating Officer. As CEO, Chris sets FCL’s vision, purpose and strategic direction and has ultimate oversight for our teams across the country. Key to his vision is cultivating a culture and projects anchored in safety, quality, compassion, and pride for doing the right thing. He’s passionate about advancing a workplace where expectations are exceeded, and people feel valued and part of a mission and purpose. He inspires environments people want to be a part of and customers want to do business with.During his leadership tenure, FCL has expanded from a single office outside of Chicago into a national brand. He has been instrumental in setting the tone, direction and collaborative spirit that has steered FCL toward repeated awards and recognition for delivering quality and excellence for clients, and recently, certification as a Great Place to Work. Few leaders have evolved through an organization the way Chris has. He began in field operations and has either performed or led virtually every role and function in the company, including operations, pre-construction, project management, safety, risk management and human resources. This career pathing evolution affords him extraordinary experience and insights into every facet of our company and industry, along with intimate knowledge of what our clients, employees, and professional partners live through and expect in a project. His philosophy of doing the right thing extends beyond business to the broader community. In 2023, Chris helped establish the FCL Cares Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm that helps make the world a better place – one person, one cause, one day, and one dollar at a time.
