About Christopher Lipski

As a manufacturing engineer I was involved with most of the disciplines required to successfully introduce new and changes to existing product. From initial customer request, I would analyze and evaluate for manufacturability and quality requirements. I would work with sales/account engineer to communicate design requests that would lead to better functionality and or cost reductions taking into account delivery, cost and quality issues. Interaction with product design was required to ensure that the released drawing had the information necessary for ease of use by production and quality personnel. Working with production control was required to minimize obsolescence, insure that unique raw material requirements were ordered and that time was allocated to develop, verify, and produce the tooling and product that was required. As a supplier to O.E.M’s, there were certain pricing issues that were subject to audit. I would work with internal accounting and customer auditors to justify costs associated with project development and implementation. Other duties included estimating tooling and/or requesting tooling quotes from internal and external suppliers. Upon release, I would manage the building of this tooling, ensuring that design standards were met, progress monitored and any requirements by the tooling supplier were fulfilled.Specialties: SolidWorks 2010Secret Clearance
