Directed, coordinated and managed all actions associated with an IT support staff of 35 personnel. Managed the communications operational readiness posture for the command organization. Developed policy recommendations and provided technical guidance and advice to Commanders and staffs on the management and operation of Army, Joint, Intergovernmental, Interagency, and Multinational networks and systems. Planned and executed the phased closure of five major outstations and conducted the C4I installation of two new O-5 level Joint Operations Centers. I forward deployed my section to the Republic of Columbia and provide continuous communications support to five separate missions involving 10 Special Forces Operational Detachments, one Navy SEAL team, and ten Planning and Assistance teams spread throughout the USSOUTHCOM Area of Operations.
