Devops approach to live platform with ops team performing the initial triage but working closely with dev, marketing and programme management to ensure the business requirements are met in a timely manner.In April 2013 EA decided to sunset the majority of their social gaming titles on facebook and shutdown the playfish studios in London and Beijing. This lead to me looking for new opportunities, which so far have been within EA.* Playfish sunset: Shutdown of live playfish social gaming titles and backend platform. Archival of digital assets and legal information. Transition of remaining services to other teams within EA. A unique opportunity to be involved in the shutdown of major online titles and to keep the outgoing team focused and motivated during this period.* Battlefield 4 launch: After playfish I was offered the opportunity to be involved in the Battlefield 4 launch in October 2013. Key responsibilities included, Operational Readiness, Contingency planning, War Room Planning and management and Company Wide visibility into the launch status.* PS4 and XBox One Title Launch: Following on from the launch of Battlefield4, I was involved in EA's multi title launch of the next generation of consoles. As with Battlefield4 this involved multi region war rooms and co-ordination with teams in different locations and timezones.I am currently at EA until Mid March 2014 assisting with the Battlefield project and the transition of operational staff to Stockholm.
