Was an early pioneer in the interactive technologies area, undertaking the first marketing-based study of how consumers would use "the Internet" in 1982. Spent several years consulting with major corporations on how to incorporate interactivity into their marketing and advertising areas prior to joining Knight-Ridder's Viewtron service.Switched industry areas at Knight-Ridder to manage their Midwest Sales office of their import/export reporting service. Spent several years helping companies to gain greater international intelligence, to formulate strategies for combating gray market and counterfeit good issues and assisting companies to improve their international operations.After graduating from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management, went into the M&A field as a specialist working with smaller companies (under $75 million) to raise capital, buy and sell operations and improve overall value. I have a particular interest in small technology start ups that have products and/or services that offer unique value propositions to clients.Specialties: Background in mergers and acquisition/investment banking, currently focused a couple of sell-side assignments and buying assignments for select clientele. Recently completed transaction include the sale of a medical capital goods manufacturer, a stamping operation in Indiana, a heat treat operation, a financial training business, a food ingredient company, refinancing of a cabinet distributor and the sale of a SaaS aviation business and a illuminating phone case business, both in Utah.
