My name is Christopher Lopez I completed my bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and finished a master’s degree at the University of Puerto Rico in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology. During this time, I’ve been involved in the development of community forest with the US Forest Service, participated in the 1st Congress of Applied Economics in the University of Puerto Rico and offered laboratory courses of agricultural accounting where students learn the basics on creating and evaluating farm financial statements and work on the production and edition of online course video. Also, I’m a past president of the department’s Association of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness. During this time aside from finishing my thesis, I’m on the hunt for new exciting job opportunities that challenge my skills and knowledge on the field, while helping the company grow. Also, I see my self pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Economics and Agricultural Economics in the near future.
