Current project: Lead developer of ten-person software project, building a cybersecurity system that orchestrates white-box routers to block and capture IP traffic for defense and surveillance of corporate and customer networks. Responsible for recommending architecture and software technologies such as Python and Docker. Implemented continuous integration (CI) using GitHub workflows. Coaching and mentoring junior developers who all work remotely in an agile process, which includes teaching software best practices & effective use of Jira, code review via git pull requests, clarifying vague requirements and coordinating feature development. Managed the preparation and documentation of weekly release candidates, and assisted operations staff with monthly deployments to a limited-access production environment.Previous project: Leading development of proprietary extract, transform & load (ETL) features based on the Malware Information Sharing Platform (MISP). Analyze indicator of compromise (IoC) data from premium data providers for usefulness to company analysts, develop and test solutions that pull gigabytes of threat data hourly/daily, transform to match the MISP data model and ingest to MISP.

Senior application developer on O-RAN https://o-ran-sc.org, an open-source project jointly developed by AT&T Labs, Ericsson and Nokia, hosted at the Linux Foundation, that uses Kubernetes clusters and machine learning to optimize the performance of a 5G radio access network (RAN). Contributed Java and Python implementations including headless RAN management applications and the full-stack of a single-page application web user interface with an Angular frontend and a Java/Spring backend.
