- Learned Dave Arnold’s techniques, including ISI rapid infusions, syrup adjustment via refractometer, juice clarification via centrifuge, cocktail preservation via liquid nitrogen, and batch cocktail carbonation.- Prepared all pre-batched cocktails, syrups, and juices for service. Assisted bartenders with cocktail creation and service.

Wilmington, Delaware

- Was responsible for critical branding decisions including company logo and website design. - Researched and wrote China Pulse - a weekly journal translating and summarizing China's economic, industrial and financial news stories for a western audience.- Drafted all text for company marketing materials introducing China Monitor, its members and its partners. - Played a critical role in organizing the 2011 CEInet conference on China's development. - Developed all marketing material for promoting this conference and interfaced with global information company IHS to help coordinate invitation and manage guest lists.

- Worked with Director Ryan Lovdahl to establish systems and protocol that allowed the department to grow from two translators to a staff of sixteen translators within a year. - Established a proprietary database of industrial and economic translation terms and established protocol for refining and correcting that database to expand it to 17,000 carefully vetted 1:1 translations of highly technical terms. - Led a team of translators to translate quarterly and annual industrial economic reports from CEInet. - Led a project to translate the CEInet industrial database and recode it into English html. - Was responsible for speed-reading and re-editing 100+ page annual industry reports to transform them from their original Chinese format into 4-6 pages of condensed and reorganized English text on 5-day deadlines. - Organized and presented qualitative feedback for improving CEInet reports that directly led to a full reorganization of the CEInet report production model.- Acted as interpreter for meetings in Beijing between the company CEO Dr. G. Dennis O'Brien and State Information Center Vice President Li Kai.
