- Liaising with Agents, Artist Management and Venues with regards to promoting a wide range of concerts and festivals across various cities in the UK. Working with prestigious acts such as Brian Wilson, John Carpenter, Happy Mondays, Dizzee Rascal, Suede, Kate Tempest, Beach House and many more.- Working in collaboration with the director to support, sustain and develop all One Inch Badge events and Venues.- Managing the contemporary live music programme at The Haunt, All Saints Church and St Bartholomews Church which involves; advancing events, box office management, diary management, staffing and liaising with external suppliers for PA, lighting, staging, security and volunteering.- Negotiating offers and contracts with agents, venues and external marketing companies. - Discussing and implementing marketing strategies for various and varied campaigns to strict deadlines. - Responsible for developing and managing all project budgets.- Overseeing all event production including the line management of the Production Manager with regards to the delivery of the technical aspects and logistics of all One Inch Badge events. - Artist Liaison on event nights and Together The People Festival. - Researching artists and venues. - Creating promotional material including writing the fortnightly e-newsletter, proofing and uploading content to the website / various social media platforms and identifying new content to increase impact and audience engagement.- Provide consistent management and support to all staff in their role’s and areas of responsibility. This includes assistant development, supervision, and training, including personal support and professional development.- Attend and organise promotional events to publicise opportunities and the organisation- Invoicing and following up on payments along with day-to-day office admin.

My role as programming and production manager is extremely varied. I liaise with promoters, booking agents and artists in regards to the venues services and availability whilst greeting clients and artists. Programming the calendar so that the venue has a vast array of events throughout the year. Manage all social media output. Design and write content for the in-house magazine using In-Design and Photoshop. Create production schedules and reports for weekly and monthly events.

Checking the client’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts for incoming messages and posts from customers and potential customers & responding on behalf of the brand through their official account.Using pre-defined processes and signed off messages for various responses. Drafting new responses for approval where required. Alerting various stakeholders to things that need escalating – issues, threats etc. Making decisions about whether to alert brand, PR, B2C, Customer Services or the technical team. Recording each day’s activity and communicating this to the team.

Brighton Source Magazine is a free community based magazine and website, providing news, reviews and information about Brighton and Hove. My role as Advertising Sales Manager is to attract new business to advertise both online and in the magazine. Working with local companies on advertising campaigns so they attract our readers by giving suggestions and opinions in regards to content. Placing adverts in the relevant position in the magazine. Proof reading content, online research. Social media output and account management.
