In 2007, as President and CEO of Christopher Lowell Enterprises, I created Consortium POV simply as a research portal for our commercial product, space design, and private label division, Christopher Lowell & Associates. Having completed a nine-year run executive producing and hosting over 1,500 hours of original lifestyle programming for Discovery Channel and Scripps Howard, I left national television in the mists of the economic crash. The goal was to rethink the American lifestyle completely from the ground up. For the next five years Consortium POV then became an essential research tool to network, track and forecast the cultural impacted once millions of Americans had been forced to reprioritize for the first time. The results were compelling, indicating that an historical tipping point loomed. The mounting stats indicated that literally more than half the American population was ready to reinvent but could not because education and viable lifestyle alternatives were still in their infancy. The results of this in-depth study were complete in 20014 (with the forecasting results documented in my seventh book manuscript RightSIZE UP!). Consortium POV is now a think-tank to privately collaborate and share the new data with interested retailers, manufacturers, educators and influencers. Our goal to help them provide the necessary multiplatform tools, philosophical language, and viable new designs that will empower and motivate millions of consumers to physically and emotionally reinvent their personal lifestyles.
