In this position I have worked on supporting the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting servers (RHEL, SUSE, AIX, Ubuntu, Windows, and VMWare). Installation includes the assistance of checking that all physical connections, and logical connections were setup correctly, SAN storage requests for storage, and the installations of requested operating system. Configuration tasks during the project was verifying that the servers had all the required tools installed, any customer specific settings in place, and also making sure the servers were security compliant.
